Boudoir is the French word that translates into a womans private sitting room, dressing room, or bedroom. So boudoir photography is a private session that reveals a womans sensual beauty. These types of sessions have come a long way. They used to be cheesy poses and props, but modern boudoir is more about a woman being confident and naturally beautiful the way she is. Many women love to have these photos done as a special gift for their signifigant other, but just as many (and I'm betting more!) woman love to have them done for themselves.
